Gifts & Keychains
Small-batch cold-process soap, handmade in Carroll County, West Tennessee. Most bars are tallow-based for a hard, long-lasting bar; a few are made with plant oils and labeled as such. Scented with essential oils or fragrance oils, and there is always an unscented bar on the shelf.
Nothing in this category right now — the next batch is curing.
See everythingThe Anatomy of a Kudzu Lane Bar
Every bar starts in a small pot and finishes on a curing rack in Carroll County. Here is what happens in between.
True Cold-Process
Oils and rendered tallow are mixed with lye at low heat and poured by hand — never boiled. The glycerin created along the way stays right in the bar.
Four-Week Cure
Bars rest on open racks for four weeks or more while the extra water evaporates, leaving a harder bar that lasts longer in the shower.
Natural Color, Honest Scent
No dyes — color comes from clays, charcoal and pantry spices like turmeric. Bars are scented with essential oils or fragrance oils, and an unscented bar is always offered.
Rendered Tallow
Most bars are built on tallow we render ourselves. It makes a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy, stable lather.
Carroll County Honey
Local honey from a nearby beekeeper goes into our Milk & Honey bar, along with fresh milk.
Compostable Wrap
Each bar ships in a paper band you can recycle or drop straight in the compost. No plastic shrink-wrap.
