Handmade in West Tennessee. Small-batch cold-process soap, cured four weeks.
Most of our bars are made on a tallow base, which gives a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather. A few are made with plant oils only for folks who want a vegan bar, and we always keep an unscented one on the shelf. Every batch is poured by hand and racked for four weeks before it goes in the box.

Cold-Process Craft
Mixed at low temperature, poured into wooden molds, cut by hand and cured on open racks for four weeks. No shortcuts.
Tallow Base, Plant-Oil Option
Most bars are tallow-based for a hard, long-lasting bar and creamy lather. A few are made with plant oils only and are labeled vegan in the shop.
Essential or Fragrance Oils, Unscented Too
Some bars are scented with essential oils, some with fragrance oils, and each product page says which. An unscented bar is always on the shelf.

Best-Selling Soap Bars
Each bar is hand-cut and cured a full four weeks on open racks before it ships.

What Four Weeks of Curing Does
Cold-process soap is not finished when it comes out of the mold. We give every batch four weeks on the rack so the water leaves and the bar hardens. You get a firmer bar that lasts longer in the dish.
Weigh & Mix
Rendered tallow, or plant oils for the vegan bars, meets lye water at low temperature. Scent and color go in at the end: clays, turmeric, charcoal or indigo, never dyes.
Pour, Rest & Cut
Each batch is poured by hand into wooden molds, left to set overnight, then unmolded and cut into bars one at a time.
Four-Week Air Cure
Bars rest on open racks for four weeks while the extra water evaporates. The result is a harder, longer-lasting bar with a dense, creamy lather.

Kind Words from Neighbors
What market regulars and shop customers say about our bars.
“I have had dry winter skin my whole life in Madison County. The Milk & Honey bar leaves my hands soft without that tight, stripped feeling. I buy three at a time now.”
“Body wash from the store leaves my arms itchy. This bar is different. The lather is thick and the scent is light. No irritation at all.”
“A lot of handmade soap turns to mush within a week. This one is hard and I am on week four with plenty of bar left, kept on the cedar deck.”
