Finally a bar that does not dry me out
I have had dry winter skin my whole life in Madison County. The Milk & Honey bar leaves my hands soft without that tight, stripped feeling. I buy three at a time now.
This fragrance captures the essence of creamy milk and golden honey, with notes of hawthorn blossom, velvety French vanilla and a touch of nutty almond. A tallow-based bar made with heavy whipping cream, oatmeal powder, and Brazilian and multani mitti clays for its warm color.
5.5 oz bar, hand-cut and cured 4 weeks.

Fully cured: hard bar, long-lasting, ready to lather.
Every bar is made cold-process in small batches, then left to cure on racks for 4 weeks. Nothing is melted down from a pre-made base.
Tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, lye, distilled water, heavy whipping cream, castor oil, fragrance oil, oatmeal powder, Brazilian clay powder, multani mitti clay powder.
Color comes from clays, botanical powders, turmeric, charcoal or indigo, never from dyes.
Cold-process soap is made by mixing oils with lye and letting the two react at room temperature. The glycerin that forms along the way stays in the bar instead of being pulled out, as it often is in mass-produced soap.
Fresh soap is soft and holds extra water. Over the cure, that water slowly evaporates and the bar hardens, so it lathers better and lasts longer in the shower.
Handmade soap keeps its glycerin, which draws in moisture. Let it dry out between uses and a bar goes a long way.
